My Story

The Sadaqah Journal began with a simple notebook, a place where I tracked my savings for a water well. Over time, I started recording more acts of Sadaqah, and that humble notebook became my quiet source of joy. I loved seeing my progress, adding to my giving, and reflecting on how each contribution, no matter how small, carried meaning.

But I wanted something designed specifically for this, a journal that could guide intentional giving, encourage reflection, and serve as a long-term record of generosity. When I couldn’t find one, I created it.

The Sadaqah Journal is the first product of The Believers Shade, but it’s more than just a journal, it’s a tool for spiritual growth, gratitude, and mindful giving. It serves as a reminder that giving isn’t just a one-time act but a lifelong habit, one that strengthens faith, deepens gratitude, and brings countless blessings. My hope is that it inspires others to give with intention, remain steadfast in their charity, and find joy in consistent giving, no matter the amount.

I’m a nurse living in Australia, and my journey with The Believers Shade comes from a deep appreciation for both care and consistency, whether in healing or in giving. I believe Sadaqah is more than an act; it’s a mindset, a way of life, and a source of Barakah that extends beyond what we see. Through this journal and future resources, I hope to encourage others to embrace generosity as a daily practice, building a legacy of good that lasts beyond this life.

This is just the beginning. My vision for The Believers Shade is to create meaningful resources that help people build a habit of Sadaqah, nurture their faith, and leave a lasting legacy of good. Because in the end, every act of giving, no matter how small, is a shade on the Day of Judgment.
